A Tail-Wagging Success: United Animal Friends’ Adoption and Fundraising Event at The Betsy
On a sunny Sunday, June 2nd, The Betsy Wine Bar in Prescott, Arizona, transformed into a haven for animal lovers and furry friends alike. United Animal Friends (UAF) hosted a heartwarming adoption and fundraising event that brought the community together in support of our four-legged companions.

Event Highlights
Adoptions and Goodie Bags
The stars of the show were undoubtedly the adorable dogs available for adoption. New pet parents were treated to a special Pawz N Clawz goodie bag, ensuring their new family members got off to a great start.
Raffle Extravaganza
Excitement filled the air as attendees participated in raffle drawings featuring an array of enticing prizes. Local businesses showed their support with generous gift card donations from The Local, BiGA, Raven Cafe, Clothes Hound, Dailey Organization, Method Coffee, and others. A silent auction featuring a signed book and magnum of wine from Tim Hanni, MW, A Grill from Elevation BBQ, and a set of Four tickets for 18-rounds of golf from StoneRidge Golf Course rounded out the day’s prizes.
Treats and Eats
Gypsy Bakery delighted attendees with their delectable treats, while Mac’s Hot Dogs and Gyros food truck kept everyone well-fed throughout the event. Our friend Brooke Lowry Ide of Vino Stache Winery graciously donated enough of her fabulous Arizona Wines to keep the party rocking, with 100% of sales going straight to United Animal Friends. And “The God of Cabernet” himself, Robert Foley, donated a few bottles of his Napa reds to the cause, giving everyone at the event something to celebrate.
Community Support
The event saw an outpouring of support from the Prescott community. Attendees brought donations of food, toys, and linens for the animals in UAF’s care. The public’s enthusiasm and generosity highlighted the strong bond between the community and its commitment to animal welfare.

A Resounding Success
Thanks to the tireless efforts of Jacqui Dailey from Dailey Organization, who volunteered her time to spearhead the event and secure donations, the fundraiser was a resounding success, raising over $2,600.00 for United Animal Friends. The Betsy Wine Bar proved to be the perfect venue, providing a welcoming atmosphere for both two-legged and four-legged guests.

Looking Ahead
This event not only raised funds and awareness for United Animal Friends but also strengthened the ties within the Prescott community. As we reflect on the day’s success, we’re reminded of the positive impact we can make when we come together for a worthy cause.
